Genesee County 911 Authority is inviting your firm to provide a proposal for site analysis and evaluation services for the construction of a new building. The proposed location(s) for the building has not yet been determined but will be in Genesee County.
The objective of this proposal is to engage the services of a civil engineering firm to assist with the site selection process and to make a recommendation from their analysis for the most optimal site based on the following criteria:
- Proximity and distance to major highways
- Site ingress and egress
- Utility extensions including water, IT, fiber, sewer, & electrical
- Utility redundancy
- Determine buildable area limits (building and parking locations)
- Setbacks
- Antenna height – allowable? or restricted?
- Grade and topography challenges (cut and balance)
- Site drainage
- Storm water detention and sizing
- Wetlands locations and delineation
- Any potential unforeseen conditions or concerns above or below ground
Please submit your fee schedule for the required services as outlined above. An electronic copy should be emailed to John Gazall no later than 3:00 pm on April 1, 2024, at [email protected]
GC911 reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, to waive any and all informalities, to disregard all non-conforming, non-responsive or conditional proposals, to request additional information form a proposer, or to expand the time period for submitting proposals.
Those submitting proposals do so entirely at their own expense. There is no expressed or implied obligation by GC911 to reimburse any individual or company for costs incurred in preparing or submitting proposals, providing additional information when requested by GC911 or participating in meetings or interviews.
